Damage Policy

Beautiful pieces,
worn with care.

We know that when a dress is worn and enjoyed, a little wear can happen. We don't charge for reasonable wear and tear from normal wear.

However, if a garment is returned with damage beyond normal wear, part or all of your security deposit may be withheld to cover specialist cleaning, repair, restoration, or, where necessary, replacement.

Examples of Chargeable Damage

Tears or significant fabric damage

Including rips, holes, pulls or damage that requires professional repair.

Burns

Including cigarette, candle, iron or other heat-related damage.

Permanent or excessive staining

Stains that cannot be removed through our standard professional cleaning.

Missing or damaged embellishments

Including beading, crystals, sequins, feathers, appliqué or other details.

Persistent odours

Including smoke or other strong odours that remain after specialist cleaning.

Alterations or modifications

Including cutting, stitching, hemming, gluing or otherwise changing the garment without our permission.

Loss or damage beyond repair

Where an item cannot reasonably be restored to a condition suitable for future rental.

Fair Wear and Tear

Minor signs of wear that naturally occur when a garment is worn as intended are considered fair wear and tear and will not result in a deduction from your deposit.

If damage occurs during your rental, please contact us as soon as possible rather than attempting to clean or repair the garment yourself.

How Deposit Deductions Work

Where damage is identified, we will assess the garment after return. Any deduction will reflect the reasonable cost of specialist cleaning, repair or restoration. If the garment is lost or damaged beyond economical repair, up to the full security deposit may be retained.

Where a deduction is made, we'll let you know what was identified and the amount being deducted.

  • Browse through our collection and choose the item you'd like to try on.
  • Once you've found the perfect piece, simply click on the "Book Try-On Appointment" button to proceed.

2. Choose a Try-On date

  • After selecting your item, you'll be asked to pick a date and time for your try-on appointment at our store

Please note: The item will be free at checkout for try-on purposes only. You are not required to make any payment for the item at this stage.

3. Enter your details at checkout

  • Fill in your name, phone number or email address to confirm your booking. We will send you an appointment confirmation with all the details of your visit.

4. Receive appointment reminders

  • To help you remember, we'll send you a reminder 24 hours before your scheduled appointment

5. Visit Us at the Store

  • On the day of your appointment, simply come to our store at your selected time.
  • Our staff will have the item ready for you to try on and assist you with anything you need.

Q&A:

1. What happens if I decide to rent in the store?

If you love the item and decide to rent it, you can complete your rental agreement in-store. If it's not quite right, you're under no obligation to rent, and you can simply leave without any cost.

2. Can I reschedule or cancel the appointment?

If you need to change your appointment or can't make it, don't worry! You can reschedule or cancel directly via our email. Just give us a heads-up, and we'll help you find a new time.
